Partition walls and their types

The vertical dividers which separate the internal spaces of your building are termed as partition walls. You divide internal parts into rooms and corridors with the help of partition walls. There are different types of partition walls according to different uses are here.
It is a fact that partitioned walls come in different shapes and textures. They are made of different types of material. They have versatile design and styles. A partition wall designed and installed by a skilled craftsman may add beauty and aesthetics to your place. They have different uses and different functions to perform in your office, facility or home.
Brick partition walls are the walls made of bricks. They are further divided into three more types. There are plain brick walls, reinforced brick walls and brick noggin. The plain brick walls are made of plain bricks. They are cheaper and more common in use. They are held together by cement mortar. If you construct these walls properly, they prove durable and fireproof.
On the other hand, reinforced walls are even stronger due to reinforcements. At every third or fourth-course, iron bars or mesh strips are placed to make them stronger.
Glass partition walls
The glass partition walls are cheaper and easier to install and maintain. For reasonable privacy and durable insulation, these walls are made of the glass sheet and hollow blocks. They give an excellent and fantastic view to the visitor. Thee sheets of glass are fixed in a wooden framework and constructed by skilled glass workers. There are some horizontal and vertical posts which are spaced pleasantly. The whole area is divided into some panels. You may use rectangle or square panels for the purpose, and they can be made in versatile sizes as you require. They are soundproof and damp proof.
Concrete Partition wall
These walls have a concrete slab, which is pain or reinforced. Vertical members support these walls. There are two main types of concrete partition walls. They may be precast of cat in situ. Their thickness varies from 80 mm to 100. They are rigid and stable. Their framework is somewhat expensive. Mild steel bars are used as reinforcement. There may be BRC fabric which is held in the centre of a thick wall. The concrete is mixed to provide durability.
